Sermon Notes:
- The Importance of Preservation As a Work of God
- He Preserves All Creation (Nehemiah 9:6)
- He Preserves
Jerusalem and the Jewish People (Isaiah 31:5)
- He Preserves the Saints (2
Timothy 4:18, Jude 1, 1 Thessalonians 5:23)
- He Preserves His Word (Psalm
12:6-7)
Consider Ecclesiastes 3:14. Scripture is no less a work of God than Creation
or a Redeemed Soul. He will preserve His Word as well.
- The Place of Preservation in the Transmission of Godâ??s Word
The Problem: God is so high (Isaiah 55:8-9) and man is so low (Psalm
14:1-3). How can the words of truth come from God all the way down to us?
